Chapter announces new digital reissue arm Chapter Epilogue

Chapter Music is excited to announce new digital sublabel Chapter Epilogue, launching 1 July 2026.

There’s still so much amazing music of the past that doesn’t exist on digital platforms, from rare vinyl releases of the 70s and 80s, to cassettes and CDs of the 90s, even to CD-Rs of the pre-streaming 2000s. Chapter Epilogue is Chapter’s attempt to remedy this situation. Every two months we’ll be releasing 5 albums or EPs by artists from the 1970s to the 2000s (mostly Australian to begin with, but in time who knows?) whose music deserves a new life in the digital age.

CHE004 Voigt/465 - Slights Still Unspoken - the most comprehensive overview yet of late 70s Sydney post-punk heroes

CHE005 The Northern Lights - Trouble Understanding - late 80s gentle acoustic pop from Perth quartet

This is something we have been percolating for years, so we’re very excited that it’s finally happening!
