Tenniscoats + Luca Forcucci (Switzerland)

For almost two decades, Tokyo's Tenniscoats have created an extended songbook that is as sonically expansive as it is evocative. 

The musical world Saya and Ueno create operates across a multicoloured spectrum of lush pop melody, folk psychedelia, unsteady electronics and drifting ambient song scapes. They are a radiant light for the possibilities of song form, offering a unique beacon of inspiration that breaks apart the supposed limitations of the pop song. Their latest recording, Zenvu Yume, epitomises this restless spirit charting out new routes within their ocean of song.

They are joined in by Swiss producer and experimentalist Luca Forrcucci. Working across numerous musical projects, Forcucci has produced a body of work that speaks to his interests in dynamic electronics and diverse musical cultures. His recent albums have dwelled on themes of found sound, rhythm and the intersections between various cultural and musical traditions.
