The first ever reissue for this 1996 classic by Australian alt-country icon Lisa Miller, Quiet Girl With A Credit Card finally returns on vinyl LP and digital for its 30th anniversary on 23 October 2026. 

Lisa is a revered figure in Australian music, sharing stages with artists like Neil Young, Nick Cave, Billy Bragg, Alex Chilton, Jonathan Richman and Jimmy Webb. She has been nominated for nine ARIA awards, including Best Female Artist three times.

Debut album Quiet Girl With A Credit Card introduced Lisa's warm, assured country-soul songwriting and glorious vocals to the world in 1996. Her own songs like Big American Car, Nobody's An Angel and Hang My Head became much-loved modern classics, along with covers of tracks by Bob Dylan, Spooner Oldham, Dave Graney and Conway Savage. The album title comes from lyrics to the song Dave Graney wrote for her for this album, I'm Gonna Live My Life.

Lisa has released six more albums including As Far As A Life Goes (1999), Version Originale (2003), Morning In the Bowl Of Night (2007) and her acclaimed covers albums Car Tape (2002) and Car Tape 2 (2010).

Lisa's songs have been featured in movies and TV shows such as Seachange and Look Both Ways, and her voice graced RACV's long-running If You Need Me campaign. She has sung live with Billy Bragg on national TV, duetted with Robert Forster (The Go-Betweens) on Rockwiz, and covered Bob Dylan with Dave Faulkner (Hoodoo Gurus) at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl for a Rockwiz DVD.

Quiet Girl With A Credit Card was orginally released by W. Minc Records in Australia and Demon Records in the UK, and was produced by W. Minc co-owner "Evil" Graham Lee (The Triffids). Musicians involved include Lisa Miller (guitar), Ashley Davies (drums), Sam Lemann (guitar), Michael Burke (pedal steel), Bruce Haymes (keyboards) and Ben Lempriere (bass). The album has now been fully remastered by Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring). The new vinyl reissue is released by Lisa's own label No Relation Records, with physical and digital distribution via Chapter Music.
