Twerps add third Melbourne album launch + announce supports

With tickets to their two Melbourne album launch shows selling real fast, disarming pop foursome Twerps announce a third Melbourne show to launch brand new album Range Anxiety. They’re also excited to announce full details of who they’ll be playing with at each show.

Range Anxiety came out in late January to some of the best notices of the band’s career, including a Pitchfork Best New Track for I Don’t Mind, and reviews like “when it comes to this kind of pop music, nobody right now is doing it better than Twerps” (Paste Magazine). Outside Aus/NZ it was released by iconic US label Merge Records (home to Arcade Fire, Caribou, Teenage Fanclub et al).

The next few months are going to be crazy for Twerps. They play Golden Plains this Saturday, then take off on Monday for month-long US tour, including shows at SXSW and festivals like Burgerama and Treefort. Full US tour dates here.

They’re back in April for Australian launches, then off again in May for their first ever UK/Europe tour. Full UK/Europe dates here.

The band will be in and out of the country for the rest of the year, so make sure you catch them while you can!
