Chapter Epilogue is the new digital reissue arm of Melbourne independent record label institution Chapter Music. We launched in July with the first batch of five releases, promising a new instalment every two months...well four months later, here's Volume 2!

There's still so much amazing music of the past that doesn't exist on digital platforms, from rare vinyl releases of the 70s and 80s, to cassettes and CDs of the 90s, even to CD-Rs of the pre-streaming 2000s. Chapter Epilogue is Chapter's attempt to remedy this situation.

Volume 2's five releases are listed below, covering everything from 90s jangle pop, 00s post-rock, decades-spanning dubby electronics, late 80s plunderphonics and our first non-Australian release, 90s feminist noise punk from New Zealand. Take a plunge and hopefully you'll find something you love.

The next five releases are

CHE006 Thermos Cardy - Kimberley Street Retirement Village - 1996 debut album by Perth, Western Australia’s wistful jangle pop trio Thermos Cardy featuring Karl Smith of Sodastream.

CHE007 Light’s Surprising Constancy - Light’s Surprising Constancy - Gentle, expansive post-rock from late 90s/early 00s Melbourne trio
