Chapter's next three releases - Teether & Kuya Neil's debut abum YEARN IV, Npcede's debuta self-titled EP and Guy Blackman's second solo album Out Of Sight - will be the last three contemporary artist new releases that will come out on the label. After that the label will continue but at a different pace. releasing occasional re-issues delving into the hidden histories of forgotten or underappreciated music.

To mark this End of an Era we're throwing a party at Max Watts as part of Rising Festival's special event Daytripper on Saturday June 7. We have a spectacular line up of Chapter acts, and a couple of very special guests. From the Chapter stable, there will be sets from Andras & Oscar, Gregor playing a special career survey show with his band, Little Ugly Girls, Tenniscoats from Japan, Npcede, and Guy Blackman with his backing band of local luminaries.

We're also really excited to be joined by two of our favourite non-Chapter musicians, the brilliant, hilarious and heartfelt singer/songwriter Ryan Davis will be coming out from Kentucky, USA, and we'll also be joined by Brisbane's finest, the incomparably great pluggnb rising star Sidney Phillips.

The Daytripper event also includes a Nyege Nyege Collective stage with MC Yallah, Kampire and more, as well as two stages in Melbourne Town Hall with Keanu Nelson, Ripple Effect Band, Ela Stiles, BKTHERULA, Tikiman, Antenna, DIIV, Mount Kimbie, Spike F*ck, Annie & the Caldwells and more.
