Dick Diver Melbourne Florida Cover

New Dick Diver album streaming this week on Broadsheet

It’s not out until this Friday, but all this week you can stream Dick Diver‘s undeniable third album Melbourne, Florida via Broadsheet – check it out here!

Both slicker and more eccentric than celebrated prior efforts Calendar Days and New Start Again, the new album was recorded with Mikey Young (again) in a shack in the countryside (again), this time an old shed in Apollo Bay.

There‘s a horn section, there are throbbing organs (Competition) there’s a Tears For Fears-style synth ballad (Percentage Points), and there’s even a song co-written with a bona-fide poet (first single Waste The Alphabet).

If you like what you hear, you can pre-order the record this week (you’ll get downloads of Waste The Alphabet and Tearing the Posters Down straight away, and the rest of the album on Friday!) via the Chapter Music webstore, or iTunes or Bandcamp.
