Post-apocalyptic R’n’B man-myth Jonny Telafone releases his first bona fide album Romeo Must Cry today, on vinyl, CD and digital. He also announces a run of album launches in March/April.
Romeo Must Cry presents a darkly sexual near future, where oblivion lurks around every corner, but human connections can still be made amidst a gleaming metropolis. The album features contributions from members of the TV Colours, Ocean Party, Forces, Danger Beach and Orbits.
Yesterday, Jonny premiered his new video for fatalist epic Inferno, featuring a cameo from Ocean Party guitarist Liam Halliwell. Check out the video here.
This comes after sultry October single The Prayer, which was featured on Pitchfork, Indie Shuffle, Flavorwire and elsewhere.
